Government’s $2 Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities
With the roll out of the Government’s Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible Persons with Disabilities, persons aged 60-64 paying with JoyYou card, aged 65 and above paying with Elder Octopus or Personalised Octopus cards, or eligible persons with disabilities paying with Personalised Octopus with “Persons with Disabilities” status, can pay a flat fare of $2.0 or the current applicable fare, whichever is lower, for each passenger-trip. The concessionary fare will apply to all KMB routes (except racecourse routes, new long-haul bus services of Routes P960 and P968).
