1.1 Provision of all personal data requested is obligatory. The Company may require you to provide specific details to support your application for individual vacancies. Failure to provide any of these data may affect the processing and outcome of your application.
1.2 Any falsification, misrepresentation, withholding or omission of material fact / documents on your side may lead to rejection of your application, revocation of any verbal or written offer of employment from the Company without any liability, or summary dismissed if employed.

2. Personal Data Collection Statement for Job Applicants
2.1 Personal Data Privacy
It is The Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited’s policy to comply with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the Laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
Any personal data collected shall be handled in accordance with this Personal Data Collection Statement. This statement may be revised from time to time where we deem necessary. Job applicants should refer to the most updated version for reference.
2.2 Purposes of Collection of Personal Data
Personal data will be used for recruitment and other employment-related purposes. Job applicants must ensure that all personal data provided are accurate, complete and updated. You are required to notify us if there are any subsequent changes to the personal data provided after submission of application.
2.3 Disclosure and Security of Personal Data
We will take all necessary steps to keep your personal data confidential. It may be disclosed to the other companies within the Transport International Holdings Limited and other agencies or contractors responsible and authorized to process the personal data for purposes relating to recruitment and employment. The personal data collected may also be disclosed to such person or organization for purpose of verifying the accuracy of the information provided by you.
2.4 Access and Correction of Personal Data
Job applicants have the right to request access to and correction of personal data collected during the recruitment process. All such requests should be in writing and addressed to the “Head of Human Resources Department” at 9 Po Lun Street, Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon.
2.5 Retention of Personal Data
We will keep personal data of unsuccessful job applicants for a maximum period of 12 months. After that time, the personal data will be destroyed.
